Click the home button on the remote, move to source (don't click on it), navigate to the USB-C input and press up to bring up a menu that should have two items: "add to home" and "edit". I get no display, but the monitor does recognize that a USB-C input has been connected-yet says there's no source. Samsung monitor drivers for mac windows#Windows continuously plays the "device connected" and "device disconnected" sound. When I plug the USB-C cable into my laptop, it has a looping on/off connection. I am using the Samsung M7 43in monitor with my HP Spectre x360 15t.
